In principal, it is a diagnosis made after exclusion of other causes for hypogonadism.2 A central clinical question is whether the decrease of androgen levels described as LOH translates physiologically. Such clinical evidence could be sought in similarities between the symptoms of men with LOH and symptoms of other hypogonadal men.
